The stars of the carom in the World Games

Starting next July 24th, the events organized by the World Confederation of Billiards Sports, concerning the World Games, will take place in the city of Wroclaw, in Poland.

This Mega Event will count with the participation in 30 Sports Disciplines, which are not part of the Olympic Games.

The World Games are considered as the Olympics for the non-participating Sport Disciplines. The last edition of the World Games took successfully place, four years ago, in the City of Cali, Colombia.

In this edition of the World Games in Wroclaw, 3.500 athletes from 100 counties will compete in their disciplines, in 20 areas, during 10 intense days.

3-Cushion Carom, Pool (Men and Women) and Snooker are represented in four competions, each with 16 participants.

The World Games will have enormous positive repercussions, mainly in Poland where the Federation was found only two years ago. 120 countries from Europe, Asia and America will regularly broadcast billiard Matches. Starting from July 27th, the three disciplines will be continuously LIVE broadcasted. Billiards has participated in all editions of the World Games, Since the start in Akita, Japan, in 2001.

The next WORLD GAMES will be held in the North-American city of BIRMINGHAM.
